“Um, I would never rule anything out, because I like working here. By the same token, the biggest thing for me is that I need to do something that I create myself. It’s been way too long since I created a universe… Captain Marvel I don’t know as well. There have been a few [versions] of her. I have the first issue of Ms. Marvel, back when she was that, and had the Farrah hair. My only issue with her is that she always felt sort of on top. She was very driven. A winner. I always like to dig into the soil of things to find my heroes, if I can.”

Avengers: Age Of Ultron Pre-Credits Battle Tease

GeekTyrant has recently uploaded an article teasing a pre-credit battle scene for Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron that involves Hydra’s Baron von Strucker, played by Thomas Kretschmann. The information comes from Empire’s recent issue featuring the Avengers on the front. Director Joss Whedon describes the scene as a “pre-credits Bondian blow-out”.

Here’s what Empire’s article tells us:

As Stark is flying the ship, [Robert] Downey Jr. goes and sits in the pilot’s seat. [Jeremy] Renner lies down on a table in the middle of the jet and clutches his stomach while a fake drip is attached to his arm. It’s clear that, whatever went down at von Strucker’s, it has left the Avengers’ ace archer in considerable distress. As the dialogue plays out, it becomes clear that [Mark Ruffalo’s] Bruce Banner has Hulked out, or what he calls a “code green,” during the assault on Strucker’s fortress, and is deeply troubled by it. [Scarlett Johansson’s] Natasha tries to reassure him – “If you hadn’t been there, there would have been double the casualties.” Banner grimaces, and replies with, “You know, sometimes exactly what I want to hear isn’t exactly what I want to hear.” Seeking back-up, Natasha turns to [Chris Hemsworth’s] Norse god. “Thor, report on the Hulk?” she asks. Hemsworth immediately lights up and lets rip with a rousing tribute to all the violence unleashed by the Hulk, filled with words like “screams” and “victims” and “whimpering”. Seeing that it has the opposite effect to that intended on Banner, the God of Thunder turns God of Blunter, stammering and stumbling, digging himself deeper into a hole.

“Ah, that’s such a fucking crock of shit. I can’t remember a year in recent memory where there were less complaints about the quality of movies. And what’s wrong with superhero movies, you know? I don’t know. You’re talking to someone that enjoys watching those films. People need to get a life if they’re having that discussion [laughs]. Those movies get a bad rap.”
