Joel Edgerton & Jon Bernthal Up For Suicide Squad’s Rick Flagg

According to Cinemablend, Actors Joel Edgerton, Warrior, and Jon Bernthal, Fury, have been chosen as two possible candidates to replace Actor Tom Hardy, The Dark Knight Rises, in DC’s upcoming comic book movie, Suicide Squad. It was reported earlier this week that Tom Hardy, who was up to play Rick Flagg, dropped out of the project, leaving an empty void in the team of villains turned heroes. Jake Gyllenhaal, Nightcrawler,  was rumored to be up to play the role but that rumor was shot down not too long ago.

Batman & Black Cat Fan-Art By Min Kim

Freelance Artist Min Kim has created this piece of art depicting DC’s Batman standing in the moonlight with a masked, thieving cat, but it’s not DC’s Catwoman, it’s Marvel’s Felicia Hardy, aka Black Cat!! We hope she doesn’t think she can be Batman’s new fling without Catwoman putting up a fight.

DefBeat’s DC “Catwoman ’66” Art

DeviantArt user DefBeat has created this piece that sends us back in time to when Batman was played by Adam West and The Joker wasn’t trying to blow up hospitals or shoving pencils into people’s eye-sockets. Introducing DefBeat’s “Catoman ’66”, a piece depicting Catwoman, played by Actress Lee Meriwether, from the 1966 television series, Batman. This incredible piece just makes us want to call it a day, turn it over to IFC, and watch old 1966 Batman episodes all day, hoping it’s a Catwoman episode.

Julio Bencid’s DC Batman Fan-Art Sketches

Artist Julio Bencid has created these amazing looking sketches of DC’s Batman and uploaded them onto his Behance profile. The first sketch seems more of an anime style of cowl for the caped crusader along with a large Batman logo stretching on top of his shoulders. The second more human like revealing the hero’s mouth while the logo stretches more across his chest. The third and final sketch looks almost exactly like a bat with long ears using echolocation to travel rooftops and the chest logo completely blacked out for stealth.
