3D Artist Leo Haslam has created this fantastically evil piece of fan-art depicting a redesign of Star Wars‘s villainous Darth Vader. The piece is called “Soul As Black As Hell” and features a maskless, black eyed, less-robotic looking Darth Vader elevating above the floor of an all white room while channeling the force into a dark, black and purple ball of energy.

It was heavily rumored for quite some time that Simon Kinberg would replace Gary Whitta to write the Star Wars spin-off film but The Hollywood Reporter has officially announced that Writer Chris Weitz, Twilight: New Moon, will be taking his place. The spin-off is apparently one of two, the first releasing a year after Star Wars: The Force Awakens releases.
