Bill Gates On The Cautions Of Artificial Intelligence

In a recent article by IGN, Bill Gates expressed in his Reddit “AmA” Q&A that people should be more cautious about the advancement and of artificial intelligence technology. When Gates was asked by a Reddit user what Gates believed to be a large enough threat from machine super intelligence, Gates answered saying that he, along with many other people including Elon Musk, co-founder of Pay-Pal, is “in the camp concerned about super intelligence.”

Gates goes on to talk about his beliefs involving artificial intelligence saying:

“First the machines will do a lot of jobs for us and not be super intelligent,” Gates adds. ”That should be positive if we manage it well. A few decades after that though, the intelligence is strong enough to be a concern. I agree with Elon Musk and some others on this and don’t understand why some people are not concerned.”

Steve Jobs Film’s Cast & More

According to Latino-Review, the official cast for the upcoming Steve Jobs movie has been released and filming has already begun. Actor Michael Fassbender, Prometheus, will being playing the Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, Actress Kate Winslet, Titanic, will play former marketing chief of Macintosh Joanna Hoffman, and Actor Seth Rogen, Pineapple Express, will play Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, and The Newsroom‘s Jeff Daniels will be playing former Apple CEO Jeff Sculley.

Director Danny Boyle, Slumdog Millionaire, is set to direct the film, which will be shooting in San Fransisco, where Jobs & Wozniak grew up. The movie isn’t going to be a biopic in a sense but mainly focus on three important parts of Steve’s life: The MAC, the NeXT, and the iMac.

Nintendo Power Glove Converted Into Animation Tool

Robot Chicken‘s Dillon Markey has created one of the coolest animation tools using an original Nintendo Power Glove. Dillon modified the glove by replacing the glove’s circuit board with a bluetooth technology keyboard. Here is a short documentary on the glove and how it was made. Enjoy the video!!

Smuggler Caught With Body Armor-Like Suit Of IPhones

According to an article by IGN, a Honk Kong citizen was apprehended at an airport trying to smuggle almost a hundred iPhone 6s into China by strapping them to his body like a suit of armor under his clothes. The man was apparently deemed suspicious by airport security due to his unusually stiff movements. He was then taken to a back room to be searched and processed once he had set off a metal detector.

The official number of iPhone 6s the man tried to smuggle was 94. The iPhone6 is a very popular product that people have tried to sneak in countless times, according to authorities. The phones are currently being held by authorities.

Nike Confirms Back To The Future Power Laces!!!

According to Nice Kicks, Nike shoe designer Tinker Hatfield has confirmed has confirmed the upcoming release of the Power Laces from the hit 80’s film, Back to the Future. Hatfield spoke about the shoes at the AGENDA Emerge Conference saying that he and his team, along with Nike MAG, are hard at work to bringing the shoes to consumers. No release date yet but but Tinker suggested that the shoe probably wouldn’t be coming out soon saying that there are “11 and two-thirds months left in 2015″.

Steve Wozniack in a Tech Reality Show

Steve Wozniack, Co-Found of Apple, is teaming up with former Mythbuster Kari Bryon for an upcoming reality tv series called The Woz. The reality tv show will go hands on with new and creative technology and gadgets. Not much is really known about the show just yet but that Wozniack may have already pitched the idea towards The Discovery Channel.
