This piece is called “Burn” and was created by Illustrator/Concept Artist Kevin Hou. The undying fires of hate and violence burn heavy in the distance as an armored soldier, still holding his sword while impaled by a long spear, looks into the dancing colors of war. I think Michael Caine’s line from The Dark Knight Rises fits this piece very well, “Some men just want to watch the world burn”.
