Next time you feel luck is against you spare a thought for John McClane, one of the unluckiest film characters ever. Consistently in the wrong place at the wrong time, this magnet for terrorism often wonders “How can the same shit happen to the same guy twice?” The answer, bad luck.

Hetain Patel’s Spider-Man Costume Love Letter

ComicBookdotcom has recently uploaded an article featuring a custom-made Spider-Man costume created by Artist Hetain Patel. The costume is titled “Love Letter To Spider-Man” and is a life-size fiberglass cast of himself dressed in Spider-Man’s famous red and blue costume. Patel has written numerous than-you’s to the wall-crawler for different things like wearing glasses and being skinny, that Patel feels makes Spider-Man one of the more vulnerable superheroes in comics.

One of Hetain’s greatest thank-you’s towards the superhero is his ability to make anyone a hero. His suit reads:

“Dear Peter Parker, There are a few things I’d like to thank you for. First and foremost thank you for making a mask to cover your face. Thank you for making a suit to cover every inch of your skin. Because of this, I too can be Spider-Man without having to be the Asian Spider-Man or the Indian Spider-Man.”
