According to Screenwriter and Produce Arash Amel, Warner Bros. Studios has hired six screenwriters to write six different scripts for DC’s Wonder Woman movie. Warner Bros. would look over all six and then choose the best script and then have Director Michelle MacLaren direct it.

Director Duncan Jones, Moon, was recently named as a possible candidate for directing the upcoming Star Trek movie after it was announced that Roberto Orci would no longer direct the film. Jones commented on his Twitter account the possibility of him directing the movie saying:
“Very flattering being on short list for Star Trek, but won’t be doing it. Absolutely MUST make my own thing next, or I’ll die of old age!”
“As for what that thing will be, pushing two to see which will go first. I’m equally in love with both scripts…”

Hot Toys has recently released pictures of their new Marvel collectible action figure, Tony Stark with an arc reactor 1/6th scale set. Down below is a description of the new collectible from Hot Toys’ Facebook page:

These new photos from Entertainment Weekly show Actor Charlie Cox dressed up in a suit, tie, and a cane as the blind lawyer, Matt Murdock and the other photo shows Charlie dressed in Matt’s early Daredevil costume taking on a bad guy in a back alley.
We’re so excited to see what Marvel’s new Daredevil series is going to bring to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Here is a synopsis for the man without fear’s upcoming show:
Marvel’s Daredevil is a live action series that follows the journey of attorney Matt Murdock, who in a tragic accident was blinded as a boy but imbued with extraordinary senses. Murdock sets up practice in his old neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen, New York where he now fights against injustice as a respected lawyer by day and masked vigilante at night.

Spider-Woman has gotten a new look for the Spider-Man Unlimited mobile game. The superhero will also be wearing the new costume in her upcoming solo comic series in March 2015. The costume’s designed by Marvel Artist Kris Anka.
In an interview with USA Today, Comic Writer Dennis Hopper said that he plans to take the character away from the mad, craziness that has filled her life recently (Spider-Verse series) and will be bringing her back to her street-level roots. Dennis wanted her new costume to reflect that for the character. The costume will make it’s first, official debut in Spider-Woman #5 by Hopless and Artist Javier Rodriguez.
The costume’s redesign was called for by Marvel Editor Nick Lowe, who explained:
“Spider-Man isn’t really a detective — he swings around looking for trouble, whereas Jess needs to go and figure stuff out and dig things up, and you can’t really do that head to toe in spandex very well. To operate on the level she wants to, she needs something that can pass for semi-normal and she can turn it on to crazy if she needs to.”

Lucasfilm has created an animated Star Wars holiday card for it’s employees and fans to see and enjoy. The card features class Star Wars droid R2-D2 and Star Wars: Rebels droid Chopper making paper snow flakes as fast as they can.

In a recent interview with CNN, Actress Evangeline Lilly spoke about her upcoming role as Hope Van Dyne in Marvel’s Ant-Man and the heist element it will carry with it. She started talking about what it was like working with Marvel saying:
“I’ve been astounded to discover how good to their teams and crew that Marvel are. They’re so collaborative, so smart with their stories. They have rich, dynamic characters which are so much fun to play. I expected I’d be a cog in the wheel of a big machine — I wasn’t sure I’d like this experience. But I’ve been so astounded at how pleasurable the whole experience has been.”
She goes on to talk about her character and her involvement in some of the movie’s heists saying:
“She is the daughter of the founders of The Avengers, Ant-Man and the Wasp. She is a very talented, intelligent, capable woman and a force to be reckoned with. [Ant-Man] is very much a heist film. It has all the fun, tension and drama of a good heist film. The heist is being masterminded by myself, my father and Scott Lang.”
Lilly also spoke with the Huffington Post saying that her character could appear in future Marvel films saying:
“It’s one I’m set to do in 2015 and hopefully 2016 if Marvel will give me that time. You never know when you sign on with Marvel what they’re going to give to you…”
